My name is Zihao Qu (Pronounced: Zi-hao Ch’ü). I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Operations and Information Management Department, Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst.

I obtained my PhD in Operations Management at Naveen Jindal School of Management, The University of Texas at Dallas. I am advised by Prof. Milind Dawande and Prof. Ganesh Janakiraman. Previously, I received my BBA in Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

My research interests include pricing and capacity management to satisfy customer demand in real-time under uncertainty, with novel applications such as those in post-acute care and cloud computing. I aim to develop easy-to-implement, efficient, and near-optimal algorithms.
